SuperGrans Manawatū helps build resilience in the community by developing healthy, sustainable life skills
SuperGrans Manawatū Charitable Trust delivers free or low cost services with paid staff and volunteers.
We aim to help families and individuals make the best of what they have by learning new and improving existing everyday life skills.
Our mentors draw on experience from their careers, household management, raising a family, and other practical skills. They help others set and achieve their goals while empowering and enriching with their knowledge.
We also participate in other community initiatives.
“As a retired teacher I find that volunteering with SuperGrans enables me to share my life skills and systems with people in our community, who possibly never had the opportunity to have this support.
I feel that it is part of our rent for being on this planet, to help and assist people who ask for our time and understanding.
I firmly believe in "paying-it-forward”, and volunteering with SuperGrans allows me to do this.”
